99% of the items on these pages are using the PC version of the values. I had no idea about the differences between hardware versions or even why there are some. We probably need some way of identifying recipes and items that are different between version. Do you have any ideas User:Minecrafter13003?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this, why are there different values for different machines? (Pinging: User:GrayBeard_Actual, User:Hamhock666, User:JonPardon). --— Tilleen (talk) 02:26, 30 May 2017 (UTC)

I was just as unaware that there was a difference and without installing and running both versions, I'm not really sure how to verify each one. So the values differ between PC and Console, right? Maybe the first step is to bring it up in the 7DTD forums and see if The Pimps respond. Maybe there are plans to make the two the same and therefore save us some work. — GrayBeard Actual (talk) 03:00, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
One solution might be to try and see if we can get a mediawiki extension like Tabs (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Tabs), that way we can use tabs in some of the infobox templates and on pages and have one tab for PC and one for console. If there are major differences, I doubt that the devs will try to completely standardize the difference between the two versions of the game, and if we want to be the 'official wiki', it would make sense to support both versions. Or if theyre really small differences, we could just roll with the PC version and make it clear that this wiki is for PC version only.--Hamhock666 (talk) 00:40, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
Unfortunately I wouldn't consider them small differences. The console version is lagging behind and is currently around alpha 14.7 with a few features of alpha 15 afaik. I don't see how this difference in information can be presented on a single page without creating a lot of confusion. An extension like Tabs would be a solution. However, there is another problem. For the PC the data of items and such are available in the data files. For Consoles there is not much data available. — JonPardon (talk) 13:29, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
